Bespoke Production

Designing a bespoke product can be a daunting experience, but don’t worry help is as hand. Our team of experts will work with you to provide a tailored specification to your exact requirements. We will help you choose fabrics, laminates and formulas to suit your intended use and assist with regulatory requirements to place your product on the market.

If you can think it, we can most likely create it. Don’t hesitate to ask us for sachets and wet wipes that go beyond the ordinary.

Design

We offer a full contract manufacturing service by providing you with print and cutter guides to make creating the product easy or we can just simply take your logo and we will lay out artwork for you to proof. If you are a bit stuck for ideas, we can put you in touch with creative designers to help with design.

Any product placed on the market must conform to the regulations for that product type. We will therefore advise you on the necessary labelling requirements and wording needed, in order for it to comply with legislation for that product group.

Tissue Fabrics

As a sustainable manufacturer, we prioritise on using biodegradable & recyclable materials that minimise environmental impact. Guardpack can provide a variety of wipe materials, from basic tissue crepe for economical finger wipes, to soft 100% viscose fabrics ideal for personal care, as well as abrasive non-woven materials for more intensive cleaning tasks.

All of our materials can be impregnated with a range of liquids, either formulated by Guardpack or supplied by the client. Subject to testing.

Liquid Formulation

Through extensive research and technical consultation we have formulated successful liquids mixes for numerous applications. Guardpack hold over 30 base ingredients allowing us to mix liquids without delay and efficiently. We have also gained contacts with some of the most respected formulators and mixers of Personal Care and Industrial Cleaning Liquids within the UK.

If there is something you are after that is not on our list of approved formulas, then don’t worry we will help formulate it for you and produce a new Product Information file, it may just cost a little bit more. We can of course process your own liquid, subject to testing.

Laminate

Guardpack carry a wide range of packaging laminates allowing us to generate simple paper based products, for an economical production, as well as glossy & metallic films producing a high quality finish.

We are also able to provide product in brown kraft paper, recyclable and microwaveable laminate ideal for restaurant and spa settings, as well as meeting sustainability goals.

Print

We have two in-house 4 colour Flexographic print presses for both UV and water based printing, enabling us to create a high quality finish at exceptionally competitive rates, with fast turnaround. We also have priority access over 8-10 colour, state of the art, UV Flexographic presses, which give us the capacity to deliver high quality reproductions at very short notice.

Our print capabilities also include digital sachet printing. Aside from producing excellent high definition print, it is extremely cost effective for low volume runs, particularly as there are no plate charges. In addition, the process can include multi-variable printing, which is especially useful where sequentially numbered sachets are required or alternatively, a variety of images across the same product are required.

Secondary Packaging

We realise that our clients don’t always wish to have their product loosely supplied in bulk, direct from the machine and we are therefore able to offer a secondary packaging service to meet our client’s requirements.

Our team of in-house packers are on hand to repack the sachets into either generic small bags or boxes, or into bespoke printed Point of Sale cartons ready for delivery to the High Street. We can also glue-dot directly onto marketing & promotional flyers and cards.
