We are delighted that Sterizar ® alcohol free sanitizing cleanser has now been proven effective against all enveloped viruses as defined in EN EN14476:2013 + A2:2019. Including all coronaviruses and SARS‐CoV‐2.
This is very welcome news and provides us with the confidence that both our Private Label Sterizar antiviral sanitizing wipes, mywipe Sterizar individual sachets and mywipe packs of 12s will kill these pathogens.
Whilst these products are indeed safe to use on both hands and surfaces, in line with MHRA stipulations, claims can only be used on surfaces, as any claims that treat or prevent infection associated with specifically named pathogens (such as SARS-CoV-2) may bring the product within the remit of the medicines regulations.
